I've used their products and while some are good they seem to over promise and under deliver...In my experience. I might throw a couple of other products in as well to make the postage worthwhile. Honestly I think a lot of it comes down to personal preference. Lol - it was pretty obvious. ok.. the bucket is not real and of course you can see scratches on white paint... does nobody get sarcasm anymore? So essentially, instead of going "balls to the walls" and replacing everything at once for one particular brand, as chemicals run out, try other brands until I find one that works the way I want it to? and the sub is full of pictures. I wanted to wait to use the Foam and Hydrate after that's all been applied to get the full effect. I've recently bought most of Ammo's products. Recently, I started to read up on AmmoNYC's products, and they seem to be the best in the business, but man do they cost a pretty penny.
I don't think anyone can say that the products from brand x are better than every other brand. Is one better than the other? Although I appreciate what Chemical Guys does for detailing, I feel that they're stretched so thin with so many products that you can't really have much faith in all that many of the products having a super high quality.
I guess in my mind it is easier to just stick to a brand I know/recognize. Brute wheel soap, Plum wheel cleaner and Gelee wheel protectant gets the job done as well. I've also used Lather and Mousse on the interior.
The only thing that I bought of theirs was that crazy green microfiber wash mitt. GB detailer.
does it really matter... they just work!!!!! You're paying for a boutique brand that is run by one guy. I use Adams and Griots.
I never really thought of that before. Pick one of Ammo's best products that you think might beat out a CG product, and get scientific about it.
I like to think I'm one of Larry's biggest fanboys here, I own his whole line except the interior regimen. And add a leaf blower or other form of drying would be better. The Lather smells like crisp, cleaned laundry and the Mousse revitalizes the leather smell again. nah - never see the scratches on white paint. They don't sell to any retailers so I'm kind of price cautious right now since I already have car products.
