Kenny Porter is a professional comic book writer, copywriter, and blogger living in West Michigan.

This one-shot puts him in a situation where he can’t use brute force to solve the problems that the serial killer has caused. Now he shares that passion by writing and sharing comics with others. Writing is done. They’re not as funny as me, mind you, but it’s important that we be charitable this time of year. That’s something that Zach Wilcox and I are enjoying a lot with The Fearless Rider. Here is his report: Cosmic Book News: Kenny, as a comics fan and former comics reviewer, how does it feel to finally see your own comic book in print? I enjoy both the traditional comic book publishing side and the larger independent book publishing side. While I like Final Draft, sometimes the formatting or the software feels restrictive. I was contacted by you, Mark Gottlieb, during the Kickstarter and started developing a new project for the book market. I couldn’t be happier with the issue. Have any anime/manga or comic book creators influenced The Fearless Rider, your forthcoming graphic novel?

ZW: Graphic novels afford the reader a sense of control that you don’t get anywhere else. . Kenny Porter: When it comes to comic projects I’ve always got something in the pipeline. This weekend I got some fantastic art from my friends Jim Towe and Leslie Gauthier for my birthday. CBN: How did it feel to work with editorial at a real comic book company after years online solo? ZW: I really want a one-shot of the Shinpi Rider character from the book. It’s been a really exciting journey so far!
