5 years later and people are still using it :), may i know how to encounter if multiple users triggered the workflow at the same time? Set the workflow to trigger on new item creation. Here I am using simple REST API to get the last ID of the Item.

You now can empower MS Access as a front end and SharePoint as a data farm. In the result above I manually changed the value to show the difference based on the number, and I've manually changed it back to 9 for now but  you will see that it will auto-increment in the flow.

I'm using a counter list to update an infopath document library list.
