Septum’s are a popular choice to stretch because the size of the piercing stays un-noticeable, doesn’t add to anything like drooling as a lip might, however, it can actually alter the way the structure of your nose appearence.
If you’re interested in stretching your own septum (or to get inspiration for stretching other piercings) this is your go to guide. There shouldn't be any damage from a stretch. This is so harmful.

1mm. Hi, guys. You'll have zero or very minimal denting, but def still take it slower that lobes, like 4 months between stretches. As long as you take it slow and steady, you'll be fine. My septum's at a 4g. Never taped, never had a problem. My septum is at 2g right now and I started stretching after 4 months.
I used the taping method after about a 6g.

I went VERY slowly with the insertion because I was not having a septum blowout.
